Attorney David Mengers of Ocala, Florida is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer with over eighteen years of experience representing people throughout north central Florida.  Mr. Mengers graduated from Ohio University in 1981 with High Honors.  At the University of Florida College of Law he made the Dean’s List four times.  He also earned two Book Awards, awarded to the outstanding student in a particular class.  Mr. Mengers graduated with Honors in 1985.

Mr. Mengers completed the Criminal Trial Advocacy Institute seminar in 1988 and the National Criminal Defense College's Trial Practice Institute seminar in 1993. Since 1997, Mr. Mengers has taught trial advocacy at the Defender College seminar in Crystal River, Florida.  In recent years, he has lectured on the law and practice of voir dire (jury selection).
